More Fun in NC!

I am beginning to wonder if my residence is in NC or WV??? I guess both. Mommy, Daddy, and I were in GSO for the 4th, then back here for a few days and then Mommy and I went back to NC. Anyhow, I have been at Mom Mom and G's house a lot this summer and man I always have a blast! I slept so good for Mommy...one night I went 9.5 hours! Then consistently 6-8 hours every night. I was showing off. Now I am back home and I have been so excited to see Daddy so I have not been sleeping quite as long. I "talk" a little so Daddy can't resist and he will come in and talk to me, give me my pacifier, or maybe hold me. Daddy is so busy right now with his rotations, Mommy and I miss him during the LONG days. But we know it will all pay off and we know Daddy is getting some good experience. He is learning so much, I hope I can be like him someday. Here are some pics of my trip...

Here I am back home for just a few days...hey, who is that cute baby in the mirror?

WOW, lots of stimulation...Great Aunt Janice and Nancy, Cousin Emily, and Mom Mom! Also, Oakley and Maddie were running around.

Oakley could not get the idea of Maddie's doggie door...Oakley is Aunt Ca-Ca's dog.

This is Cousin Emily holding me and singing, "I've got a baby"...and let me tell you, I love her voice, I smiled and laughed every time she put emphasis on the word 'baby'!

Yo what up "G"! "G" babysat me a few times in GSO and had the pleasure of changing my diaper, I made it a good one for him. HA! He took Maddie and I outside on the front porch and I loved that, I fell asleep in his arms.


Mommy and Aunt Ca-Ca took me swimming and I absolutely loved it. I did not make a peep, just smiles. The water was cold initially for Mommy, but I liked it just fine. She submerged me down to my neck and I splashed and loved it. I think I may be a swimmer!

These are silly water shoes that Mommy HAD to put on me...Aunt Ca-Ca laughed. Mommy just wanted a picture...they were water shoes she put on her baby dolls 10+ years ago. She says I am her "real-life baby doll!"

Then I got tired and fell asleep in his arms.

Here I am back home on my 3 month Birthday. I absolutely love to sit in my Bumbo seat. I smile, coo, and hold toys. Mommy and Daddy are going to get my Jumperoo and Jenny Jump Up out this week. More baby gear...I am growing so fast! Stay tuned for some pictures of me jumping!

Carolyn's Trip South

Well, I have been to five states now! WV, VA, NC, SC, and GA! I have enjoyed visiting and meeting new family and friends. My underarms are super strong!!! Here I am chilling while sleeping at the bike race in Salisbury...it was so hot and miserable...I do not know how the team raced. I decided I would sleep in the chair, Mom picked me up to let my back air out every once in a while.

This is my friend Sydney...I had fun at the cycling gang cookout at Mom Mom's and G's house. (By the way I am trying out different names for my grandfather Trull, let me know if you have any ideas.)

Here we are at the Shrimp Boats in Calabash, NC. I was napping because I am like Mommy and think the smell of seafood is yucky, so I decided to sleep instead.

Great-Aunt Lucy...she made me laugh. I don't have a picture of it but crazy Lucy has some twinkling red chandelier lights in her dining room that were Christmas decorations...and I absolutely loved looking up at the lights. I had the deer-in-the-headlights look going on.

I got my foot wet...yay...I think I am going to be a lake and river person, not Ocean...like my Mommy and Daddy.

Mommy and Daddy went out on the boat in the North Myrtle Beach marsh with Aunt Lucy and Steve while grandmommy Rigby played with me. All parties had a blast! Mommy put her feet in the water on the front of the boat and while they were going through a real marshy section Uncle Steve told her, "Watch out for the alligator!" Needless to say I think her feet stayed in for the rest of the boat ride. Seriously, two alligators were seen within 2 miles of their house the week we were at the beach! (BTW, he was joking!)



Aunt Janice, cousin Emily, and cousin Allison came to meet me in ATL. I was kind-of fussy because I had traveled from Myrtle Beach to ATL earlier that day without making a peep. Mommy and Daddy tell me that that was impressive of me to do.



Uncle Justin was a natural with me...I loved sleeping in his arms!

And so was Uncle Matt! Mommy and Daddy tell me to watch out for Uncle Matt. Kind-of like what they tell me about Aunt Katie? I wonder what's up because right now they both just love to hold me but I think they have something else in mind for my future.

Here I am sleeping in Mommy and Daddy's bed in GSO...Daddy likes to put me in bed with them in the morning...but just for a little while...

I am trying to scoot already. I really do like to hold my head up and look around when on my tummy. I am doing push-ups, Harkey would be proud! I have turned over from my tummy to back some too, but am not consistent with that yet. I am starting to roll on my side.

Here I am at home looking up at my mobile, it is my new most favorite thing to do. I absolutely love the music it plays and how it moves around. I like to dance to the music and make funny faces!

I love being outside. Mommy and I played on the blanket and read books and played with the Monkey puppet. I loved it! Yesterday I went to the doctor. I am 2.5 months old and measured in the 75th percentile. The doc said I was perfect and doing everything right...or was that Mommy and Daddy were doing everything right? Either way, we are all doing great. I screamed a little while I got my shots, and it broke Mommy's heart way more than mine. So I decided I would treat her by going 7 hours between feedings last night!!! I am going to try to do it again tonight!

I am going back to GSO tomorrow to celebrate the 4th of July! I plan on being good on the drive...can't wait to see Mom Mom, G, Ca-Ca, Jason, and Maddie!!!! Plus all my other family!
