Merry Christmas - Carolyn 20 months

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Happy Holidays! We wish you all a great Holiday Season and Wintertime!

We are currently in Greensboro and have been since we got back from Colorado at the end of October. We were in Boulder for a month and it was amazing! We rode, hiked, toured around, traveled into the mountains, saw bugling elk, visited with great friends, visited many parks, played in the snow, and admired the outdoor enthusiasm of the CO residents! Plus Rigby's Sports Medicine rotation was a great experience. Can't wait until he is a Sports Med Doc! We have been enjoying the Holidays and are headed to Atlanta for Christmas and New Years! Looking forward to visiting with the Rigbys! Carolyn is excited about showing off her Strider bike skills and dance party moves! She is now officially NOT sleeping in a crib...mostly sleeping on a dog bed on the floor. She is like a dog and does not like to be confined. HA, sad, but true. Carolyn has developed her own little language, and again, is very proficient in communicating with the dogs. She is now counting some and fills in letters of the alphabet. An early Christmas present from our Lewisburg neighbors was a Tea Set, she loves to serve us Tea (in the bathtub). We are slowly starting to potty train...oh my.

Rigby is doing a General Surgery rotation in Lewisburg mid-January and into February. He will be staying in our house, which is STILL on the market. Carolyn and I are staying in Greensboro. She is starting a Mother's Morning Out program in January at a Church. Hopefully it will go well...we are well aware of an "adjustment" period. But she will love playing with the other children, toys, and playground! I will be temporarily watching a friend's 3 month old for a month or two...will be good training for Carolyn, who currently views little babies as dolls. Again, oh my. Then in February, Rigby will be back in Greensboro doing a Ortho Surgery rotation. And then in March we will find out about RESIDENCY...Can't wait until MATCH DAY!

Hope all is well and Merry Christmas!

Carolyn 10 months old!

So, I am now 10 months old. Into everything. Crawling is speedy now. I am trying to figure out this walking business, but it is so much faster to crawl. I walk all over mommy and daddy, literally. Walk on the couch, on my walker, with my play table, and stand alone and watch TV. I am so into real food, not so much the baby food. Why should I eat jarred food when I can have the real thing? Mommy and Daddy are really busy getting the house ready to sell...UGH! Thank you grandparents! Daddy just turned 27...oh my...that is like ancient. I am sleeping really really well now at night...Mommy and Daddy say it is about time. I now sleep between 10 and 12 hours! But I still resist most of my naps. Too busy. Too curious. Oh yeah, Daddy calls my Curious Carolyn, like Curious George, his favorite! I like to climb! Here are some pics from today...Mommy was in a photo shoot mood! And some other pics. Enjoy!
I love my Uncle Justin...only got to seem him briefly...hopefully I will get to see him in ATL in March.

Into Everything!

Hello everybody! Hopefully you all had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! We have been in GSO for a while and we loved it. Now we are back home and I am trying to get used to my crib again, lovely times for Mommy and Daddy! Anyhow, this will be quick. The pictures below are out of order but that is okay. I am into everything now...crawling, pulling up, starting to stand alone, walking behind a walker, shouting, throwing food, opening cabinets, going up steps, I AM EVERYWHERE...and loving every second of it! Take care!

Stocking stuffers...Desitin and Johnson's Bathtime Lavender...awesome!
Here are the 27 bikes that were in our front yard on Christmas morning...funny Christmas prank that ended up being a good deed...people stopped by and picked up bikes for Christmas presents...so funny!

So, this is the Key Lime Pie Mommy made for the neighbors that I got into! Oops...Pie and Christmas packages and ribbons...what fun!

This Christmas dress and the bloomers were my Mommy's on her first Christmas!
