Carolyn's First Barbeque Cookout

Here I am with Mommy and Nativa in the morning at her baby shower.

Here I am at my first BBQ Cookout.

Man, I am worn out from all of the activity!

Here I am washing off the BBQ smell. I love taking baths, I am so good for Mommy, I just look up at her with a serious face.

Then, I make funny faces while drying off and getting dressed. Again, I love being naked!

And lastly, bedtime...I started out on Daddy's bean bag chair!

Here I am being cute...

And sleepy!

Mommy and I are on our way to church.

Carolyn's Photo Shoot

Here are some photos of me taken by Nativa Rodeback...check out her blog at www.Nativarodebackphotography.blogspot.com. She is an awesome up and coming photographer. I was a challenge for her, Mommy, and Daddy. I pooped on the blanket Granny knitted for me, spit up a few times, cried some, and would make funny faces when she took the picture. Give me a break, I was only 13 days old!!! But the pictures turned out great! Thanks Nativa...we really appreciate it!!!

Carolyn is One Month Old!!!

I can't believe I am already one month old! Time flies when having fun! I have now outgrown most of my newborn clothing, especially the pants and long-sleeve shirts. Mommy believes my arms and legs grew one inch since last week. Supposedly she had me dressed in high waters the other day. That's okay, now I am on to step two of my wardrobe.

Here I am hanging out with Daddy while Mommy makes dinner. Daddy called Mommy into the den to see me and the two of them could not stop laughing. Daddy had me sitting straight up in the Boppy and I was wide awake looking up at them like, "What's so funny?" I guess babies do not sit upright until around 6 months old. Well, what can I say, "I am ahead of the curve!" (By the way I had some assistance from the pillows.)

Bedtime! Here I am all ready for bed! I am really happy because Mommy just let me coo and make funny faces while naked!

More Favorite Pics

Here are some more favorite pictures. I am growing too fast for Mommy and Daddy's liking. However, Mommy is liking how I am going longer between feedings at night. I went almost 6 hours a few nights ago and am consistently going between 4 and 5 hours at night. I am now following toys back and forth and love being on my stomach. I am starting to smile a bit too when Mommy and Daddy talk to me and hold up toys. I love to be read too, Daddy keeps reading Medical text books to me, and I am thinking, Daddy...please translate to baby talk, this is seriously over my head.

First Trip to Greensboro!

My first trip to Greensboro was great. I was so good on the way down. I slept until half-way, ate good, got a clean diaper, and slept the last half. Mommy was thankful to have the company of grandma GJ. They had a good trip and are glad that I am a car baby because supposedly Mommy and Daddy travel a lot. I met so many people in Greensboro, I like that place, I am held constantly and spoiled, a lot of people dot on me and Maddie protects me. She checked out each person that came to the door. Look how precious I am in this outfit Aunt Katie gave me to me. She said I shouldn't wear it until after Memorial Day because it is white but Mommy thinks I am too cute in it and that I can get away with wearing it before then!

Can't you tell, that I love sleeping in Mom Mom's arms?

I love Dad A...he is so sweet and loves to hold me!

That is Sista checking out my big feet! I have flippers for swimming and skiing!

Becky and Sydney came to meet me...I can't wait to meet baby Bryce and Paige.

I was wide awake when I met Grandmother, I was telling her a story!

Madison loved holding me, she could not get enough of me...she said she wanted to take me home...but just for the day. Ha.

I was sleepy when I met Nicki and Kinley. Kinley wants to be my babysitter when she gets a little older, sounds good to Mommy and Daddy!

This is Maddie's stuffed baby...I am the real thing though!

This is Mommy's third ride back...she is so happy to be back on her bike! Her skills are still there, just the uphill fitness needs a little work. But she does not think it will be long before she is back in the swing of things. I think I helped her lung capacity, I know she helped mine because I show Mommy and Daddy all the time how loud I can "talk". I can't wait to join them on the bikes! Do they make an Orbea tricycle???

This is Uncle John holding me. He loved holding me. I was sound asleep but making cooing and baby noises. I hope I can come to Greensboro often and see Uncle John.

Here I am in the car on my way back to Lewisburg. I am exhausted. I was so glad to meet everybody! I also met Libby, Mary Kay, and Amy but Mommy didn't get pictures of me meeting them, maybe next time. I got to see Uncle Rai and Aunt Denise briefly too! I had fun!
