Carolyn's First Week at Home

I came home from the hospital in the same dress that Mommy came home from the hospital in, almost 23 years ago. It is a yellow Feltman Brothers Dress. I also wore my bloomers that grandma GJ made for me with my initials on them. All the nurses in the hospital thought I was just adorable with my bloomers. They all came into the room right before we left, so they could all look at my bottom. I am not sure how I feel about that...

Here I am in my car seat on the way home. Mommy sat in the back and worried because every hole or bump Daddy hit in the road, I would throw my arms up and make a face. Mommy felt bad for me, while Daddy explained in some long medical terms about how it is normal for babies to have these reflexes.

Aunt Ca-Ca and Mom Mom decorated the front of the house for my arrival, how sweet. Jessica got a poster printed for the front door.

I love my swing. I either like to read the Spanish warning instructions or sleep in the swing. Mommy and Daddy think I am so smart because I stare at the instructions, but I am looking at them thinking about how dumb the manufacturer is because they are warning against putting a baby in the swing that climbs out when it is moving. DUH!

I love my aunt Ca-Ca. I am very content sleeping on her lap. I like to sleep with my arms above my head...I am just practicing putting my arms up for my first bike race win!

Here is my first bath! I didn't seem to mind it too badly, but I did make somewhat of a fuss and show off my reflexes again.

I met queen Maddie the Mad Dog. Maddie's bandana says, "I am the big sister!" She is my big sister/aunt. I love her and she is protective over me but still kind-of ignores me. Once I am older, we will play!
